Founded in 2006, we have a solid background in planning, scheduling and executing commercial and residential projects. Blake Rainwater & Associates, Inc. is an invested member of the community with representation on the newly-formed Habersham County Economic Development Council, the Cornelia Downtown Development Authority, the Clarkesville Business & Community Association and the Habersham Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership
Blake Rainwater, President/CEO, Owner
Blake is a licensed general contractor who draws from his decades of experience to truly understand client needs to make sure every detail is accounted for so every project is completed with your best interest in mind. With experience in commercial, industrial and residential projects, Blake brings a wealth of knowledge to every project.
His construction career began as the owner of Fayette Custom Millwork where Blake managed hundreds of projects for clients such as Financial Supermarkets, Inc. creating upscale interior finishes for the company’s banking centers in grocery stores across the U.S. Other prominent projects include Free Chapel in Gainesville and several high profile government projects including judicial centers in Rockdale and Henry counties.
Building on his expertise and reputation, Blake launched Blake Rainwater & Associates, Inc. in 2006 and has established it as a general contracting firm focused on quality client service.
Early in his career, Blake worked in law enforcement for the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office and maintains his POST-certification. He currently serves as a volunteer deputy for the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit and leads the facilities and grounds committee at his church. He has completed coursework at Clayton State University.
Blake lives in Clarkesville with his wife Angie, a college professor. They have one daughter, Mackenzie, a junior at Tallulah Falls School.
Brentt R. Cody, Business Development Director
With a degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and a lifelong resident of Habersham County, Brentt is uniquely positioned to couple his network of contacts with his technical knowledge to expand Blake Rainwater & Associates while playing an active role in construction process.
Brentt began his career with his family’s business, Habersham Hardware & Home Center, developing strong client relationships through contractor sales. Established in Northeast Georgia in 1946, Habersham Hardware operated as a family-owned business until 2012 when the family sold the business to Central Network Retail Group (CNRG). As a regional district manager for CNRG, Brentt continued to expand his network of contacts, serving clients throughout the Southeast, specifically in Northeast Georgia.
Brentt is married to Heather, a certified nurse practitioner. They have two sons, Reeves and Charlie, both students at Tallulah Falls School.
